Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE) is a lightweight, durable, and flexible material, making it perfect for detailed vacuum forming applications. These sheets work exceptionally well for creating molds over concrete or plaster items and are ideal for resin casting.
LDPE captures fine details similarly to silicone but offers superior longevity. While silicone molds typically last for around 20 uses, LDPE molds can be reused hundreds of times, making them a long-lasting alternative. Additionally, LDPE is the only material that does not adhere to epoxy resin.

Important Note:
LDPE can be damaged if forming pressure exceeds 60 kPa. To prevent breakage, reduce suction power and use microporous forming bed add-ons when needed.
