While DiGiCo's focus on top-tier audio quality and durability has made entry-level products difficult to produce, the S21 breaks that trend by using cost-effective FPGA components without sacrificing the signature audio quality. Its inclusion of an ARM QuadCore RISC processor enables faster, more efficient processing with lower power consumption.

The S21 features a high-power QuadCore SoC with high-bandwidth memory, connected to a low-power 484-ball FPGA array and a fourth-generation SHARC DSP. This technology integration ensures powerful processing potential in a compact form factor.
Dual Touch Screens:
DiGiCo has led the way in touch screen integration, starting with their designs in 1997. The S21 takes this further with two multi-touch screens, each displaying 10 channel strips, allowing operators to control up to 20 channels at once. The drag-and-drop functionality allows for custom layouts, and the HTL encoder ring functionality ensures channels, aux, and group sections are easy to identify.
