Advanced Design
The PRX825W features two 15-inch JBL Differential Drive® woofers and a 1.5-inch annular polymer diaphragm compression driver mounted to a 90° x 50° horn. A sophisticated DSP system manages these components for optimal performance, powered by a Class-D amplifier.
All PRX800 series cabinets, including the PRX825W, are constructed from lightweight yet robust poplar plywood reinforced with tongue-and-groove joints. A DuraFlex™ finish and dent-resistant steel grilles ensure durability, while glass-filled nylon handles and M10 suspension points rated for 1000 lbs. add flexibility and strength.
The input panel offers XLR and 1/4-inch compatibility, a sensitivity switch for versatile connections, and signal status and overload indicators for straightforward setup and reliable operation.
