The Shark HD544 provides a true 4ft x 4ft machining capacity on an open base platform. With an XYZ travel of 50” x 50” x 7”, it is constructed using heavy-duty industrial components that support rapid movement of up to 400" per minute. The machine is fully compatible with all Next Wave CNC accessories.
Easy to assemble, the Shark HD544 should be mounted on a table at least 64" x 64". It includes a 3hp water-cooled spindle, a 10.1” color pendant controller, and features a closed-loop system for enhanced accuracy, ultra-precision leadscrews on all axes, and Next Wave CNC’s patented Virtual Zero Unlimited software.
This CNC router offers two control options:

Pendant Control: Use VCarve Pro software (sold separately) to design your project, transfer the design to a USB drive, and plug it directly into the LCD pendant. The touch screen pendant interface eliminates the need for a computer, making it convenient to control the CNC directly in your shop.

Computer Control: For greater interactivity, run the Shark HD544 from your computer using the Ready2Control program. This allows you to utilize the exclusive Virtual Zero Unlimited program, which adjusts your design to fit curves and angles that other machines can't handle. (Note: Computer and flash drive not included.)
